Jim Donaldson Inducted into ICCO Hall of Fame

Jim Donaldson, CEO UK and Middle East became the 47th inductee into the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) Hall of Fame at the ICCO Global Awards in London last night.

Established in 2003, the ICCO Hall of Fame recognises those who have made exceptional progress in the internationalisation of the public relations industry, and who have combined cultural sensitivity with commercial acumen to create agencies that share global reach with local relevance.

Jim joins industry greats like Harold Burson, Daniel and Richard Edelman, and Margery Kraus.

Jim Donaldson said:

“It is such an honour to join this illustrious group – I am humbled and very grateful. It has been an amazing journey so far and thanks to everyone at all the great agencies I have worked at over the decades and of course to everyone at Fleishman Hillard. As I embark on a new chapter from early next year, I do so with a hope that what comes next will be as fun and rewarding as everything I have enjoyed so far.”

The award was presented by Maja Pawinska Sims, Associate Editor at ICCO partner Provoke Media,

Maja Pawinska Sims said:

“He is one of the good guys. During nearly a decade at the agency he has grown FleishmanHillard’s UK operation substantially. But he’s done much more than that: with his loyal team, he has transformed the agency into a progressive, innovative business that cares about its people and is deeply respected, creating something rather special within the Omnicom network – as witnessed by a groaning shelf of agency and campaign awards from every publication and association in the comms world. I know for sure that his next move will continue to be full of dynamism, super-smart counsel, and humour”
