ICCO Announces Changes in Operation and Collaboration with The PRomise Foundation for Services
London, 11th March 2025 - The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) has announced changes in its operations, appointing The PRomise Foundation to manage office administration, membership services, and the organisation of key ICCO events, including the ICCO Global Summit and ICCO Global Awards.
Following a selection process, ICCO’s Executive Committee chose The PRomise Foundation to take on these responsibilities based on their experience in organising conferences of International repute focussed on the public relations community.
ICCO President, Grzegorz Szczepański, commented:
"The PRomise Foundation has demonstrated strong capabilities in organising industry events, including PRAXIS. Their experience aligns with ICCO’s needs, particularly as we bring the Summit and Awards together for a two-day event in Mumbai, India, later this year. This collaboration reflects ICCO’s commitment to strengthening its global operations."
Roshan Alexander, Chief Operating Officer, The PRomise Foundation, added:
"We are excited to be ICCO’s Global Partners in delivering the best in class services to members located around the world. We are grateful to the ICCO Executive Committee for choosing us to manage the various activities and the Secretariat of the Organisation. We look forward to this collaboration that contributes to ICCO’s vision and mission.”
Coinciding with this transition, Ewa Grabek has stepped down from her role as Member Services and Engagement Manager, a position she has held since September 2023.
During her tenure, Ewa played a pivotal role in strengthening ICCO’s membership engagement, peer learning initiatives, and project management. She was instrumental in delivering major ICCO events, including the Global Summit in Istanbul, the Global Awards in London, and the launch of FuturePR which is a joint project with EUPRERA for PR university students from around the world.
Reflecting on her time at ICCO, Ewa said:
"It has been a privilege to work for ICCO and its incredible members. Over the past two years, we have been tackling the challenges the PR industry faced, and in our conscious, collectable effort, we have achieved significant milestones. Organising the Global Summit in Istanbul and launching the Weather Kids campaign with UNDP were particularly memorable highlights. I’m immensely grateful for this experience and the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic and big-hearted global community."
ICCO expresses its sincere gratitude to Ewa for her dedication and commitment to advancing the organisation’s mission. Her contributions have significantly shaped ICCO’s success, and she leaves with the best wishes of the entire ICCO community.
Joulyn Kenny will be ICCO’s new Global Member Services and Engagement Manager. The PRomise Foundation is putting together a team of experienced professionals in the next few weeks to deliver seamless services to ICCO members.
