2024 ICCO Global Awards: Early-Bird Entries Open with New Categories

The 2024 ICCO Global Awards officially open for entries today, offering PR professionals worldwide the opportunity to showcase their most impactful work on a global stage. As one of the industry's most prestigious honours, the awards highlight outstanding achievements in PR and communications, bringing together top campaigns, agencies, and professionals from across the globe.

This year, the #ICCOGlobalAwards introduces several new categories, reflecting the evolving landscape of the PR industry. Among the exciting additions are regional "Campaign of the Year" awards that recognise exceptional work from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, Western and Northern Europe, North and Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia and Oceania. These regional categories offer fresh opportunities for agencies and professionals to gain well-deserved recognition on an international platform.

Other new categories include:

- Health, Wellness, and Wellbeing Award: Honouring campaigns that promote healthy living, mental and physical wellness, and public health awareness.

- Professional Services Award: Celebrating excellence in communication within the finance, law, insurance, and public administration sectors.

- Construction, Energy, and Real Estate Award: Recognising innovation in addressing industry challenges, driving awareness of sustainable practices, and shaping market trends.

- Best ESG Campaign: Highlighting PR efforts that address Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, promoting sustainability and corporate responsibility.

- Sport and Entertainment Award: Showcasing campaigns that engage and captivate audiences in sports, music, film, and live entertainment.

- Consumer Goods Award: Honouring outstanding campaigns in FMCG, fashion, beauty, household products, and more, recognising creativity, brand storytelling, and measurable impact.

- Best Digital, New Media and Influencer Marketing Campaign: Recognising exceptional use of digital platforms, new media, and influencer marketing to drive brand narratives and audience engagement.

In addition to these new categories, the awards will continue to honour standout campaigns in sectors like technology, automotive, consumer goods, and non-profit, as well as top-notch efforts in media relations, digital marketing, crisis management, and more. To take advantage of special entry fees, be sure to submit your work by the early bird deadline on September 13th, 2024. The final entry deadline is set for October 3rd, 2024, with a late entry deadline of October 16th, 2024.

Entries will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of international PR and communications experts, ensuring that excellence, creativity, and effectiveness are recognised and rewarded. The judging period will take place from October 18th to October 28th, 2024.

Following the judging period, the shortlist will be announced on October 30th, 2024. The celebration of winners will culminate at the prestigious ICCO Global Awards Gala on November 27th, 2024, held at the iconic Waldorf Hotel in London. This grand event will offer an unforgettable evening featuring a champagne reception, a gourmet three-course meal, and the opportunity to engage with the best and brightest in the global PR industry.
